暑假里，我读了《宝葫芦的秘密》这本书，这本书写的是一个叫王葆的孩子听了奶奶讲的故事后，非常希望得到一个宝葫芦，有一天他做梦到河里去钓鱼，虽然鱼没钓着，却钓上一个宝葫芦，从此他要什么就有什么，比如，他想要一个飞机模型，宝葫芦就帮他变出来，想要辆自行车也能变出来，不会的作业也能帮他完成，宝葫芦虽然给他带来了不少东西，但是这些并没有使王葆得到快乐和幸福，因为许多人都以为那些东西是偷来的，他对最亲爱的爸爸也得撒谎，给他带来了很多烦恼，最后他想把宝葫芦扔掉。再也不要他了。
读完这本书，我懂得了一个道理，世上没有不劳而获的东西，无论做什么事情都要靠自己的努力劳动来取得，珍惜劳动成果，这样才有意义。
